“Hello” got the number one position on Billboard pop charts. The song also reached number one in other 36 countries. In United Kingdom, the song became the second song in the chart after her another song “Someone Like You”. Adele won 15 Grammy Awards and also 1 Oscar Award. 

A music video of this song “Hello” was also released on 22 October 2015 which was directed by Xavier Dolan who is a Canadian actor and filmmaker. In September, the shot was taken for four days at a farm in Quebec. After released, the music video received 27.7 million views within 24 hours and broke the previous Vevo Records and also became the 26th most viewed video on YouTube as of March 2021 with 2.8 billion views. 

On 20 September 2016, the song “Hello” received seven times platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on 20 September 2016. 

In Canada, the song “Hello” was made a record for the most streamed track with streamed 4.79 million times in its first week.
