“Blinding Light” is a song, was sung by Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, who is professionally known as the Weeknd. The song was being written by Abel Tesfaye, Jason Quenneville, Ahmad Balshe, Max Martin and Oscar Holter. The song “Blinding Light” was being released on 29 November 2019 as the second single from his fourth studio album “After Hours”, just after the two days of publishing his another popular song “Heartless”. “Blinding Light” reached number 1 in several countries including the US and Canada. 

On 6 December 2019, a lyrics video of the song “Blinding Light” was being released and the official music video was also being released on 21 January, 2020. The commercial audio video of the song was released on 2 December 2019, that was directed by Anton Tammi, assisted by Kenneth Tylor and produced by Sarah Parker which was being filmed in Fremont Street, Las Vegas and Downtown, Los Angeles. 

The "Blinding Lights Challenge" is a TikTok choreographed dance challenge in which the intro of "Blinding Lights" was used. "Blinding Lights" was featured on the dance rhythm game, Just Dance 2021 and on Fortnite's Joy Ride update via Fortnite Radio and also appears on the NBA 2K21 video game soundtrack.
