  “Imagine” is a song. The song had been sung by English singer and songwriter John Lennon. John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono wrote the song. In 1971, the song "Imagine" had been released in the United States  from John Lennon's second studio album, "Imagine".The song was released in Britain in 1975 to promote the compilation “Shaved Fish”. In May 1971, recording of the songs began at Lennon's own studio in Tittenhurst Park, England, and the last overdust occurred at the Record Plant Studios, New York City in July. 

 In US, the song “Imagine” reached the number three on Billboard Hot 100 and reached sixth position on the UK Singles Charts. Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) said that “Imagine” is one of the 100 most performed songs of the 20th century. 

 The song “Imagine” was performed by more than 200 artists like Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Joan Baez, Lady Gaga, Elton John and Diana Ross. The song “Imagine” was featured at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and the song re-entered the UK Top 40 and then number 18. 

 In March 2020, Gal Gadot and other celebrities together performed an entitled version “Imagine” (Quarantine Edition) online to raise morale in the face of COVID-19 pandemic.
