The writers of this song were Bob Thiele and Georg David Weiss. In 1988, the song “What a Wonderful World” appeared in the film “Good Morning, Vietnam” and the song re-released as a single and reached number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was being used in the 1995 American science fiction movie “12 Monkey”.
