“Goodness of God” is a song, performed by Bethel Music, Jenn Johnson. The writers of the song were Ben Fielding, Brian Johnson, Ed Cash, Jason Ingram and Jenn Johnson. The song had been recorded in 2018 and was released on 1 November 2019 from the eleventh live album of Bethel Music, named “Victory”. The song was released as the third single from the album through Bethel Music and the producer was Ed Cash.

Jane Johnson said that she was inspired to write the song during the process of adopting her fourth child. She was singing about God's mercy and faithfulness in her phone while driving a car on a long country road and then from that impromptu recording, the song “Goodness of God” was developed. 1 November 2019, the radio version of the song had been released in digital format. An alternative version of the song “Goodness of God” was also released on 10 April 2020 from the second studio album of Bethel Music, named “Peace”.

On 25 January 2019, a live music video of the song “Goodness of God” was also released by Bethel Music on YouTube. In this video Jenn Johnson singing the song at Bethel Church during a worship.

The song “Goodness of God” reached at fifteenth position on the US Hot Christian Songs chart and also got the nomination for “Worship Recorded Song of the Year” at the 2020 GMA Dove Award.
